LaMalfa Receives Key Endorsements from First District County Sheriffs and Supervisors

OROVILLE, CA – - County Sheriffs and Supervisors from throughout the vast first congressional district have announced their support for Doug LaMalfa in his campaign for U.S. House of Representatives.

County Sheriffs endorsing LaMalfa this week include Glenn County Sheriff Larry Jones,  Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner, Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko, Siskiyou County Sheriff Jon Lopey as well as former Butte County Sheriff Perry Reniff.

Among those endorsing LaMalfa this week are Butte County Supervisors Steve Lambert, Bill Connelly and Kim Yamaguchi, Glenn County Supervisor John Viegas, Lassen County Supervisor Brian Dahle, Modoc County Supervisor Geri Byrne, Shasta County Supervisors Linda Hartman and Glenn Hawes, Siskiyou County Supervisors Jim Cook and Michael Kobseff, Tehama County Supervisors Dennis Garton, Ron Warner and Bob Williams.

“I am very honored to have the support of so many local elected Sheriffs and County Supervisors and I look forward to working with them to make sure the North State continues to have a strong voice in Washington,” said LaMalfa.

Doug LaMalfa is a fourth generation farmer who attended local schools and grew up learning the value of hard work and community service.  Doug currently serves as the North State’s representative in the State Senate.  He and his wife, Jill, along with their four children, make their home on the family farm in Richvale.
