Crime Victims United Endorses Doug LaMalfa for Congress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, March 13, 2012

OROVILLE, CA — Doug LaMalfa’s campaign for the House of Representatives continues to gather steam with the announcement today by Crime Victims United that they are endorsing Doug.

“Doug LaMalfa is the only candidate in this race with a history of protecting citizens from becoming victims of crime,” said Harriet Salarno, Chair of Crime Victims United.  “While other candidates have worked to hinder law enforcement and tried to let murderers out of prison, LaMalfa stood with law enforcement and victims to keep these hardened murderers behind bars.  We can count on Doug LaMalfa’s leadership in the United States House of Representatives to keep our families safe.”

Doug LaMalfa is the only candidate in the first Congressional District to receive endorsements from law enforcement and crime victims groups.

“I am proud to be endorsed by California’s leading crime victims organization,” said LaMalfa.  “We have worked closely together in the past to make our communities safer and I look forward to continuing that working relationship from the House of Representatives.”

Doug LaMalfa is a family farmer and current state senator. He is the leading candidate in the new first Congressional District.
