RICHVALE, CA -  Today Doug LaMalfa announced receiving endorsements from the Butte County Conservative Republicans, Tehama County Conservative Republicans, as well as the Conservative Republicans of California, in his race for the House of Representatives. The CRC is made up of conservatives from around the state that seek to promote candidates with the same core conservative values as its membership.

OROVILLE, CA – - Farmer and Senator Doug LaMalfa announced that he was the first candidate in CD 1 to sign the Americans for Tax Reform “Taxpayer Protection Pledge.”  LaMalfa signed the Pledge in January during a meeting with ATR President Grover Norquist.

“Big spending in Washington as well as Sacramento, has broken the budgets of both. Yet the answer from the spenders is to always go after the wallets of American producers for more of what they earn, not reforming government,” said LaMalfa. “I will continue to oppose these attempts to raise taxes on the American people, because we are already paying too much, and receiving poor results.”

ATR states this about the pledge:  “The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is actually made to a candidate’s constituents, who are entitled to know where candidates stand before sending them to the capitol.”
