All entities only accepting monetary donations or donations of new unopened non-perishable food and drinks, food for pets, new clothing (t-shirts, socks etc), new towels or new blankets.

Monetary donations should be directed to. The Shasta Regional Foundation Community Disaster Relief Fund at www.shastarcf.org/funds/cdrf

Or give to the United Way of Shasta County Relief Fund at www.norcalunitedway.org

FIVE SHELTERS OPERATED BY THE RED CROSS

All shelters are accepting donations. Red Cross has asked that donators ask for the Salvation Army staff & volunteers working at the shelters to accept and process their donations. If you aren’t near one of these locations, please contact your local Salvation Army to inquire if they are participating in the Carr Fire response effort. If they are, you can drop off your items to a Salvation Army located nearest to you. Here is the list of the shelters and their locations:
