ROSEVILLE, CA -- Lew Uhler, the President and Founder of the National Tax Limitation Committee, has endorsed Doug LaMalfa for State Senate in the 4th district Republican primary.

"Sacramento is full of lobbyists and lawyers and professional politicians who think they know what is best for the rest of us.  Doug LaMalfa is a farmer and businessman who will answer to the taxpayers, not the Sacramento insiders," said Uhler in announcing his endorsement of LaMalfa.

"Doug understands that high taxes and budget deals that increase spending and debt are killing California's economy. Doug has been there with us in every fight we've had. North state taxpayers need Doug LaMalfa in the State Senate," Uhler concluded.

Lew Uhler has a long and distinguished record of serving taxpayers. He was a high-ranking member in Governor Ronald Reagan's first administration and in 1972, Governor Reagan asked Uhler to organize and serve as Chairman of the Governor's Tax Reduction Task Force. In 1990, Uhler was co-author of Proposition 140, California's pioneering state term limit initiative.

"It is a great honor to have the support of Lew Uhler, who has done so much throughout his career to protect us all from high taxes and big government," said LaMalfa.

Uhler's name is being added to a growing list of key leaders who support LaMalfa for Senate, including conservative Republican Senators Dennis Hollingsworth, Mimi Walters, Tony Strickland and Mark Wyland and numerous local sheriffs and district attorneys.
